Cross-country

Yesterday afternoon Kiara,Tangiroimata and me had cross-country the reason was that we had it in the afternoon is because we were 9 and 9 year olds run with the seniours.when we got there where you ran the 9 year old boys went first and the the 9 year old girls went second when we lined up I felt nerveous and then we streched to lose in our bodys and then the clapper clapped I started running and by the time I got around the second corner people started walking so passed all of them when I got to the part where you cross over the fence I heard heaps of people cheering then I came to the prickly thorns went past those and then I came to the gooey mud I got stuck in the mud and when I pulled out my leg I fell over and then I fell over 5 more times but I still kept going then it came to a course leader and I saw all of these shoes so I dropped them right there and my feet felt better so then I carried myself to the fence it came to the end I felt really happy all these people were cheering for me and at the end I was exchasted.

Cross- Country

We had a cross-cuntry and it was fun. Icame 2nd i was proud of me.I did my best but it was wet ; bisgust; muddy , but It was fun after the wet race. Hana was the best because she came first.Alyssa came 3rd that was good too but at the end I got faster . There was rocrs in the padeck they werehard for me and I the race was yesdrday.

My Uncles house

In the weekend I went to my uncles house. Next I wached movies all day. Then I had dinner and
went to bed. On sunday I went to my uncles house. Then had dinner and went to bed.

Selwyn School is now SunSmart Accredited!

What this means:

In Terms 4 & 1...

• Children and staff will be required to wear a hat when playing or learning outside when at school.


• Children and staff will be encouraged to wear sunscreen.
  
• Children without a hat will need to play in the shade.
  

SunSmart Bucket hats will be on sale at school later this term. They will come in a variety of cool colours and sizes to suit everyone. Or alternatively, you can provide a SunSmart hat from home. Bucket, Legionnaire and wide brimmed hats are great. Hats will stay at school so they are readily available when needed.

Caps are NOT a SunSmart hat as they do not protect the ears or neck, so please do not send caps to school.

Aunty honey

On saturday I went to my aunty Honeys house. For Tyler birthday party. And my cousin Brook came there too. I felt good and cool.
